Chinese Herbs

Every herb that is used in Chinese Medicine is the child of thousands of years of herbal wisdom. In China, herbs are considered gifts of nature. They do not “fight” disease but they enhance the body’s healing. Each is a rich and potent source of healing energy and their uses have been perfected and refined through time. Many Chinese herbs contain amino acids, proteins, vitamins (A-E-C) antioxidants and other phytochemicals (plant-based nutrients).

As we age we lose our yin (the moist substance, also known as the female part of our body) and our skin starts to dry out. I use herbs and essential oils that will nourish the yin thereby balancing the yin yang in your skin. Chrysalis products are designed for women who are getting a little older and starting to see fine lines and wrinkles. Chrysalis will also calm the spirit, working on a more mental level — it’s beauty from the inside out!

As an aside, skin elasticity starts to decline at the age of 21. So, it is never too early to start.
